Edgar Wortmann is a company lawyer specialized in financial and property law. He is active for both government and industry and involved in the organization of energy cooperatives in the Netherlands. He conducted various projects focused on the circular economy, such as the ‘green house village‘, a self-sustaining neighborhood, and ‘new utilities‘, area-oriented design of utilities with involvement of stakeholders. He is associated with the Ons Geld Foundation, which is committed to the reform of the monetary system. Edgar Wortmann provided the inspiration for a successful theater show in the Netherlands concerning the money system and was substantively responsible for the citizens’ initiative ‘Ons Geld’ (Our Money) that got a unanimous vote in parliament of the Netherlands in favor of monetary reform.
